    Debate among candidates for the Wisconsin 6th District Congressional seat in 2004 held at UW Oshkosh on October 18, 2004. Candidates included incumbent Thomas Petri and challengers Democrat Jef Hall of Oshkosh and Green Party candidate Carol Rittenhouse of Plymouth. The debate dealt with issues including the loss of manufacturing jobs, the federal deficit, the Iraq war, environmental protection, and higher education. Congressman Petri’s challengers also discussed the incumbents’ committee assignments, campaign contributions and a possible conflict of interest in a prescription drug plan. Congressman Petri later won his 14th term to Congress with 67% of the vote. The debate was moderated by UW Oshkosh political science professor Dr. David Siemers. Duration: 1:20:29
